Turkish media outlet Milli Gazete claims that Inter Milan are stepping up their efforts to sign Danish defender Simon Kjaer.
It is no secret that the Nerazzurri are in the market for defensive reinforcements and they appear to be hot on the trail of the former Palermo centre-back.
Milli Gazete understands that Inter Milan officials have established initial contact with the player, while it is believed that Fenerbahce would require between €12m and €15m for their star footballer.
It was at Palermo that the 27-year-old had made a name for himself and he also represented Wolfsburg, AS Roma and Lille before signing for Fenerbahce in July 2015.
Kjaer has since made 39 league appearances for the Turkish giants, scoring 3 goals in the process, and he currently forms a very good defensive partnership with former Liverpool stopper Martin Skrtel at Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.
